On Tuesday 9th February Sergeant Major Peter Arvay of Training Command – Military Academy, who has already participated in four military missions in Afghanistan, visited an old people’s home in Rajhrad. He was talking to curious listeners about a distant country and his personal experiences there.
On Monday 15th February, the founder of the movement “On Own Feet” – Centipede, Běla Gran Jensen, is going to visit Dědice base. She will personally support the exhibition which is dedicated to 25 years of this movement.
On Thursday 4th February 2016, about 500 students of the basic training course (recruits of the Czech Army) crowded the square in the Dědice base to cross a significant milestone in their new professional career – i.e. taking their military oath.
On 9th and 10th March 2016, the Training Command - Military Academy is holding a conference entitled “Training of Personnel within the Ministry of Defence Department “. In its content, it is a follow-up to the conference which was held in February 2015. The conference is held under the patronage of the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Josef Bečvář and the Commander of the Training Command – Military Academy, Colonel Josef Kopecký.
On Wednesday, 20th January 2016, the mayor of Vyškov Jiří Goldemund, together with deputy mayors Břetislav Usnul and Karel Jurka, paid their second visit to the Vyškov military.
Sixteen candidates, including two women. This is this year’s first group, which is doing its training at the Training Command – Military Academy in Vyškov. Among the candidates, there is also a city mayor of Frýdek-Místek, Michal Pobucký, whose interest in the Active Reserve has been sparked by the security situation in Europe.
Representatives of Military Academy Vyškov visited the hospital school and kindergarten, which livened up the pre-Christmas period for the children and their parents. The aim of this meeting was to present basic information about soldiers’ duties and their activities.
08.01.2016 • On Friday January 8th, a parade ceremony of Czech Army troops took place after their return from operations and training abroad, in the Ceremonial Hall of the National Memorial in Prague in Vítkov.
On Monday, January 4th 2016, 533 recruits and also 16 new members of Active Reserves filled the Dědice barracks. All these are now going to take part in basic training courses.
The prestigious international competition organized by the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces and held by the Training Command – Military Academy is underway at Dědice Base, adjacent Military Training Area Březina and Protected Landscape Area Moravian Karst this week.
